Tweak is one of the many features shipped with Concealed. It allows users to modify the contents of their posts richly. In this article, we will dive deep into Tweak and explain how it helps users flexibly display their content on Concealed.

The Tweak feature has multiple uses, and allows a user to;

• Hide parts of information only for a selected few to see (it is called steganography)

• Make words secret (and keep the audience curious)

• Add description to word(s)

• Encrypt word(s) (and alter the content’s interpretation for some selected people)

• Create a carousel for specific words

Hide parts of information (Steganography)

With Tweak, a user can conceal parts of a post, and allow only a specific audience to view the concealed information. This is especially useful in cases where certain words are confidential and not open for all to see.

For example, Adams, an artiste, has a closed concert but doesn’t want everyone to know the details about the event. He can hide parts of the information, and specify which audience should view the hidden part.

Make words secret

Using Tweak, a user can make words secret. When words are secret, they are blurred out, and only specified audiences can see the secret word.

For example, if Adams wants to make people curious as to the details of the event, he can make the words secret, and tickle the curiosity of his audience.

Add description to words

With Tweak, a user can add a description to a word. The purpose of adding a description is to give more context to the word being described. With this tweak, only the people specified would have access to the details provided.

To use this tweak, the user must enter additional information on a word in the Enter the description section.

Encrypt words

This tweak allows a user to replace selected words with other words. The specified audience would see the selected words while the unspecified audience would see the replaced word.

The user must enter the new word to replace the selected word in the Enter the exchange texts for unspecified audience section.

Carousel for specific words

This tweak allows a user can use multiple adjectives to qualify a specific word, and further improve the understanding of the context of a post.
